LAB – Loyalty, Athleticism, Beauty
Here at HGT, we will be focusing all our strengths this coming year on two dynamic litters – both will bring us many assorted chocolates –
2015 was our Golden year and we are very proud of those golden grands. 2016, is our year of the LABrador!
Ty, Koko’s oldest daughter, will be bred to JD, You Had Me @ Hello. This breeding will take place early February, 2016. Ty has passed all her genetic/health clearances and she is so ready to be bred and to become a mom – it was apparent the way she looked after Sage’s pups. To read about Ty, please go to our Labrador/Adults and find Ty and see all that she has done and how she continues to amaze us.
Kissakee, Koko’s younger daughter, will come into season the middle to end of February. She also turns two on February 9, 2016. So if after we have her OFAs done and they reveal all good/normal/clear results, we will be breeding Kiss too. I might use the same sire, JD, for her breeding or I may wait if the timing is appropriate, to enlist the help of a beautiful chocolate sire that is currently standing at stud in The Netherlands. To read about Kiss, please go to our Labrador/Adults and find Kissakee Crest and see all that she has done and how she continues to amaze us.

Eps, Koko’s youngest daughter, will turn two in October, 2016. She too will need to have all her OFAs done and if she passes all the genetic/health clearances that are necessary for our breeding program, she too will be bred. This breeding will take place the end of 2016/beginning of 2017. We are seriously thinking about re-introducing the beauty of black back into our lines and know of a stunning black sire that lives a few towns away from us and who is owned by our vet! This litter will be amazing and will include chocolates, blacks with the possibility of a few yellows :@) To read about Epokku, please go to our Labrador/Adults and find Eps and see all that she has done and how she continues to amaze us.
So this is our wish for 2016 – to make all those HGT Lab families very happy by producing the best of the best English Labradors, with our concentration still on our dark chocolates, but we may open the door a little to include the tri-colors of Chocolate/Black/Yellow as well. Please follow our blogs as I will inform everyone when our girls are bred. :@) Enjoy, Pam
