Sire featured below will be bred to our Meooya in the Spring – An older boy with lots of know-how, great genetics and that head turning temperament. A must have for our golden grand line – I met Ty and one of his offspring – he imprints in his litters like no other. Both dogs compliment each other, Ty carries that beautiful coat, nice temperament and show wins and Meooya carries some very nice genetics, nice pedigree and the darker skin tones – she is also that goofy girl that everyone has to meet! So very excited about this pairing. We are currently taking names for this litter.

Today, 4/18/17, our HGT Kiss N Tail, Sage Advice experienced her first side-by-side natural breeding to this extraordinary sire,

Ty has all the genetic makeup that we look for in the betterment of our line and the betterment of the breed. Ty has the overall balance, structure, stance/stack and that cheerful gait that we love but it was that ‘must-have’ that feeling that takes you to different heights, what I call that eye-catching, head-turning temperament. Ty certainly had me at hello and kept my attention. In my estimation, Ty has already lived up to his name and Hit it right… Out of the Ballpark. We want to thank our friends at FoxRun Goldens for partnering with us for this breeding.
We will follow Sage and by the end of May we will have an ultrasound to determine if we have a viable pregnancy. In the past Sage has given us beautiful golden grands, so we are hopeful for not only beautiful and healthy, but possibly she + Ty will throw us a show puppy!
If you have sent us a completed questionnaire, I am sure we have it. To follow up with us is always a good idea just so we know that you are still eager for a HGT pup. January 18th, 2008 –
Ty finished his UKC championship at 8 months old by taking a Group 1. His first and only NAKC show resulted in his taking Best of Breed, Group 1 and Best Puppy in Show. In May 2009, Ty went Best in Sweepstakes at the YGRC Specialty under breeder judge Julie McKinnon. Ty currently has 14 points toward his AKC Championship, he ran his Jr Hunter with his owner, Kathi Schapp and finished that in 2012 and he has a Rally Novice title.

4_11_17 HGT’s Sage Advice had given us signs – but they were of a false heat in February – we now feel that what she is exhibiting is true to form. We will know for sure once the progesterone test is taken and results are in-hand – hopefully in a few days. Fingers-crossed!
2_12_17 HGT’s Sage Advice is showing signs – those signs of her anticipated breeding :@) We are paying close attention to our Sage as she was given a well deserved break for the last year. Watch our blogs and visit us on the AKC website. We are already taking names for this litter. We do NOT take any deposits until the pups join us and they have been vet checked. The excitement is starting here at HGT!
5/27/16 We are giving our Sage Advice a well deserved short break from breeding as she has given us some very beautiful pups from previous litters – see below. We have already found a beautiful, healthy, young sire with very nice genetics and health clearances. If you are interested in this anticipated litter, we will need to hear from you. 3/20/16 We have been spending some time searching for our next Golden Grand Sire who not only has the look that we want but also has those impressive genetics and health clearances. Well, we found him only a few towns over! HGT is planning our next golden retriever litter for Fall, 2016. This will give our Sage Advice some time to relax from her last litter of golden grands (see below). This will be a Canadian/American golden pairing. 12/18/15 Below are some comparison pictures of our small litter of golden grands. You will see the pups at 1 day old, 1 week old, 2 weeks old – through their 8th week – truly amazing transformations. On a weekly basis, we will post the new picture of each puppy so you can see how beautifully they change and develop into beautiful goldens. We will also blog about how they change in temperament/personality and other physical characteristics that just happen being a pup.
10/30/15 Sage whelped all her puppies! We have 3 Males and 1 Female. The below pictures were taken a few hours after they joined us. On a weekly basis we will take more pictures for all the families to see how each puppy has changed – All the pups from this litter are spoken for based on the list placement. If there is any change, as we allow another 7 days for the families to think about the joys and hard work it takes to develop a HGT golden grand, we will notify the next family on our list. If there are families that are still interested in one of our pups, please do not hesitate in contacting us so we can discuss our planned litters for 2016.

10/02/15 Guess Who Conceived :@) Our Sage Advice! Please see our blog entitled: A Bittersweet Day – This is a repeat breeding of our Sage Advice and Abalee’s Devin, Sea Shores N’ Poetry. The pair gave us such great golden grands that we could not resist. This litter will be smaller than the first. I have already started to call everyone on my list – I have been leaving messages – so if you are still interested I need to hear from you either way. If we do not hear back from those families within 48 hours and who have been on our list for awhile now, we will need to plow ahead and start calling everyone else who have recently expressed an interest. We are only calling to see if you want a HGT golden grand. Once the pups join us, then I will call again to ask for the deposit to hold your golden grand. The pups are due to join us around Halloween :@)
8/16/15 We are starting the process of preparing for our next litter of Golden-Grands. This will be a repeat breeding of Sage + Devin. We anticipate the breeding will begin the end of August – so our little golden glows will join us the end of October/beginning of November. If you are interested in this litter, please fill out our questionnaire in its entirety under the contact heading and you will be placed on our golden list. 4/15/15 Please view our Blog entitled – ICU & URGR8! All the pups pictures are there imbedded in the blog – their eyes are open and they can see. All the pups in this litter are now on hold and are spoken for. We also allow the families a 1 week grace period. Because of the tremendous requests that we have for this litter, we are seriously thinking about a back-to-back for Sage and Devin. Monday, 4/6/15 the pups are almost one week old! Notice that the pigmentation is changing, they are filling out nicely and they all ‘stick together’ in their very own sibling-pack.
On a weekly basis, I will have all new pictures of the puppies so you can see how they grow, how they change and between their 2nd and 3rd week you will see their eyes and ears will start to open. At this point everything starts to change in their world and in ours.
Thursday 4/2/15, the pups are 2 days old! We wanted to show all our HGT families how the pigmentation on the puppies faces is starting to change to black from pink and their coat colors are also changing somewhat.
Below are some pictures of HGT’s golden glows. As you can see, we have a beautiful Canadian/American blend – the pups coat colors range from a white/gold, honey gold, and a gold/light mahogany!

Tuesday, 3/31/15, Sage has given us a beautiful litter of golden retriever puppies. If your name is already on our golden list, we will be contacting you soon to see if you are ready for a HGT puppy. This litter is a Canadian-American Blend – AKC limited registration. Please scroll down to see all the pictures and to meet Sage’s very handsome sire who imprinted very nicely into this litter.
Today, Friday, 2/27/15, we just had a pregnancy ultrasound on our Sage Advice and Sage has conceived! We are very excited about this litter – this is Sage’s first litter and we anticipate the whelping to begin the end of March/beginning of April, 2015. This is a beautiful Canadian/American Golden Retriever litter – AKC Limited Registration. For more details on this litter please follow our blogs – starting with “Some…Sage Advice”. If you want to be on our Golden_list for this litter, please fill out the questionnaire under the Contact heading. We are currently taking names for this litter.
