HGT’s Pot of GOLD

I bet you all thought I was going to talk about our golden-grands …right?! Well HGT’s pot of gold holds not only our goldens but our labs and in this blog the one lab that takes my breath away and truly is one that makes our pot of gold is our HGT’s Ty-Ty.
We have just received the last of all of Ty’s genetic tests and she is good inside and out! She has passed the following genetic testings and health clearances:
EIC, PRA, CNM, DNA Coat Color, OFA, Eyes, OFA, Hips & OFA, Elbows. To see the results, look under Ty’s section – Labrador/Adults.
Ty has already turned heads at a couple of AKC Match shows that we were entered into. She will continue her handling classes prior to conception so that she shows her true regal lab stuff during future matches and to achieve more ribbons + rosettes in the near future.
Right now we are looking forward to breeding Ty to a magnificent sire out of MA. He has all the right stuff – genetically, physically and he truly lives up to his name – You had me at hello. We are anticipating this breeding to begin in July – if Ty conceives, her pups will be joining us in September and the entire litter will be a dark chocolate.
The featured picture that I chose is of Ty’s Mom, Koko as a young puppy. I anticipate that this litter will look more stocky with stronger bone structures and the pups will resemble more of their grandmother. The sire also carries the stronger-broader structures – so together Ty and JD will produce overwhelmingly beautiful big chocolate pups.
If you are interested in a HGT English Chocolate Labrador puppy, you will need to fill out the questionnaire in its entirety and we will call you once we know Ty has conceived. This does not guarantee you a puppy, as we never know how large the litter will be. Having your information, will allow us to call everyone on our lab list when Ty conceives and the pups arrive!
