TIME …for our (newest) Labradors
Written by Pam on July 9, 2016
At HGT, we are known for our beautiful dark chocolate labradors. We thought earlier on that we would pick one labrador coat color and keep the line strong, dark and healthy. That was until we bred to a beautiful black sire – who imprinted so nicely into our chocolate line. Koko has thrown us an amazing litter and … we could not resist these two black ‘timeless’ labradors.
We decided that since we are truly changing things around here at HGT – why not have the pups AKC names reflect this element of ‘time’. Please enjoy the pictures and descriptions of these two amazing puppies that are creating a new unbeaten path here at HGT.
Let me introduce: ‘Time will tell’ intrigue and ‘Time to every purpose’ excitement element and certainly both have created that ‘Times have changed’ atmosphere here at HGT! Even though these pups will be co-owned, they will still spend time here at HGT – to learn those Pam commands, to perform spot-on when asked to switch-gears and compete and to ultimately win-win-win! We are certainly making good use of our time here at HGT! :@)
I wanted to include this quote by William Shakespeare explaining ‘use of time’ and this passage, BIBLE, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, where we captured the name: Time To Every Purpose…
“Make use of time, let not advantage slip.” by William Shakespeare
BIBLE, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8,To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
