HGT – Getting Older…Better!

With age, comes knowledge – with knowledge comes higher breeding standards and genetic clearances. At HGT, we try and pair up dogs that have surprised us at every turn, that show us they are that cutting edge and that are able to round that corner at a drop of a dime! We only participate in breeding our dogs if we find a sire that steals our heart, has those must-have heath clearances and those genetics that we want to carry in our line. We only breed our dogs when we want to try and produce that show pup, that head-turning wonder, that must-have companion.
So saying all this we don’t have a lot of puppies here, having pups and doing everything right by our dogs and pups, takes a lot of time if done correctly. So we have many families interested in our pups, but we have to tell everyone that we will hold your information once it is received in its entirely through the questionnaire on our website. But there is definitely a waiting period as we do not have a lot of litters – but when we do, it is definitely worth the wait. So I guess I can say – getting a little older with us … is better!
We not only try to produce the best of breed, but we are actively researching sires that might be a match for our girls. We also spend a lot of time training our pups for obedience, agility and for the show ring – Please see how Michi and Heiwa have blossomed and have certainly showed us their amazing side of things! We are gearing up for two planned litters…Breeding to begin the end of 2016 and pups to join us early 2017!
HGT’s Labradors: A beautiful chocolate-to-chocolate Labrador pairing of HGT’s Kissakee Crest and Madabout’s Ferguson Ferguson has been standing at stud in the Netherlands for the last couple of years and he is now traveling back but understandably stopping along the way – he is nearer but not close enough just yet as he is now in Canada. Sage has thrown us beautiful – healthy puppies in the past, and we would expect nothing but the best if she conceives to Reilly Blue.
