New Buyer Information
Below is some important information that the new buyer needs to know before purchasing one of our HomeGrown Pups:
Puppy Guarantee
At HomeGrown Trilogy we try our very best to make sure that everyone is happy with the welcoming of a new furry friend into their lives. We strive to make sure that health is not a concern by performing rigorous testing on our dogs before they are bred. Beginning at the delivery of all our litters, we ensure that every HomeGrown Puppy is given a complete evaluation from our veterinarian and each puppy leaves us with their individualized 8-week Brag sheet that details every procedure, deworming and vaccination that the puppy had while with us.
The purchase price of the puppy will be refunded if your veterinarian provides a certificate indicating that the puppy is unwell or unsound and returns the puppy within 48 hours of delivery. The puppy needs to be produced at our veterinarian’s office for further evaluation. A veterinary finding of intestinal parasites shall not be grounds for declaring the puppy unfit for sale unless the puppy is clinically ill due to such condition. The puppy may not be found unfit for sale on the account of an injury sustained or illness contracted subsequent to the family taking possession of the puppy. All veterinary and/or transportation costs will be the responsibility of the new family. Up to 1 Year of age, if our veterinarian and/or the OFA professionals deem the puppy to have hip dysplasia, the puppy will come back to us and we will provide you with another puppy when we have our next litter. The return of all documents need to be produced with the return of the puppy and all expenses need to be paid by the new family.
We are very confident with representing Life’s Abundance – the premium dog food of choice here at HGT. After many years of research, we finally found this natural food and because we are believers of the Life’s Abundance line-up of dog food and care products, that we have extended our puppy guarantee to include an additional 6 months for a total of 18 months as long as the puppy is continuously fed Life’s Abundance. This food has to be purchased directly from our website under the Eat&BeWell Tab so that we can track the families who feed their pups this nutritious, gluten-free, Omega-3 enriched food.
Our HomeGrown Trilogy puppies are also guaranteed against, EIC, or Exercise Induce Collapse. Both the Dam and Sire are tested to ensure that this genetic health defect is not traceable in our lines and that your puppy is free of this genetic disease. Because these puppies are sold with Limited Registration, we will guarantee all that is stated above, but should the puppy/dog be bred without our consent, all guarantees then become void. This guarantee will only be provided if the puppy has had proper care with its new family. Neglect, stress, injury, etc. will void the guarantee.
Deposit Information
- We are a small breeder and only have a couple of litters each year. If you want one of our puppies, you need to contact us by phone or fill out the questionnaire and send us the completed questionnaire either by email or by US mail to let us know of your interest.
- We do not accept deposits until our litters are on the ground and have been vet checked. So you need to keep in touch with us so we can let you know of our new developments!
- Once the puppies are checked by our vet, we will start calling everyone on our Lab_Love_List or Gotta_Have_Gold_List and then start taking deposits. Our deposits are $200.00 to hold the puppy and the balance is due once the puppy is picked-up at 8-weeks of age. If you know the name of the puppy, please tell us so we can start calling the pup by its call name!
- If there is a serious reason for you not to take a puppy that you requested, we will hold the deposit until the next litter. At that time of the very next litter, you will need to make a selection of a puppy or forfeit the original $200 deposit.
Registration Information
- Every puppy is sold with either the AKC Limited Registration (American Kennel Club) or the Registration with the UKC (United Kennel Club).
- Once you have selected a name for your puppy, you need to fill-out the corresponding registration paperwork and send it back to either AKC or UKC. This will allow you to get the pedigree for your puppy. I will give you all this information when you pick up your pup.
