A BitterSweet Day :@) :@)

We just had some ultrasounds done today and we are happy that our beautiful Sage Advice conceived but we are very sad to learn that our beautiful Ty did not. We will be repeating the ultrasound on Ty in a week, just to ensure that we did not miss a pup hiding behind a very full bladder. This is not all bad news – it is simply news – things happen for a reason and we will try and breed Ty again in February to the same wonderful sire. I will try to block off time tomorrow to talk with everyone who has been waiting on this chocolate lab litter. If you have any questions, certainly feel free to call us. I will keep your name on our list for our next lab litter.
For those of my HGT families that are on my list for a golden, below is Sage’s ultrasound. She is not loaded with puppies but we think there are 5 or 6 (maybe more). The ultrasound is not a guarantee as there is may things inside that Sage belly. We will have an x-ray done in a couple of weeks, so we know how may pups will be joining us and to ensure everyone is lined up properly.
Please look at the ultrasound results below – every time I look at this ultrasound, it truly brings on tears of joy. Stay tuned and read our blogs for updates. In a month we will be welcoming this litter of golden grands. Also beneath the ultrasound, enjoy another loved poem by Cecil Frances Alexander.
All Things Bright and Beautiful
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all!
