My cousins, Jan and Lisa, came for a visit this past weekend. It seems like each time our family gets together, we truly feel the strength, the friendship and the unwavering love that we have for each other. Each one of us own dogs and love our canine friends. We also had Fritz over for a visit! The HGT dogs and pups all experienced many different people, different scents and lots of love this past weekend and today we continued the love and the water training…

Today we started to teach the puppies that if they want a chew toy to play with, then they needed to find it and retrieve it out of 8 inches of water. Amazingly after a couple of tries, the pups enjoyed the game and truly enjoyed achieving the expected with a reward of their very own – a great chew toy. Fritz truly lead the pack on this expedition!

We also received some great news today!!! Ty (one of our labradors featured below) has successfully passed her last genetic test that we perform before we breed our dogs. Her OFA’s for the hips – good and elbows – normal! If all goes as planned, she will be bred later this month to…You Had Me At Hello! Enjoy the pictures.
