HomeGrown Trilogy’s Ewes & AWE!!!
Written by Pam on March 6, 2015
Koko has surprised us yet again – she has come into season a month early – so the breeding process can begin earlier than we anticipated; the pups will be on the ground and join us sooner and the pups will enjoy more of the summer time fun with their new families! We are all very surprised and excited to welcome a repeat litter of all dark chocolate Labrador pups into our home! In a months’ time, we will have an ultrasound done to ensure that Koko has conceived and that we have a viable pregnancy.
Koko Waiting her turn – before being bred :*)
This is a repeat breeding of HGT’s Koko Kawaii Hito and HHL’s Ch. Mr. Bojangles. Together they produce – beautiful, healthy, smart and very dark chocolate pups. The HGT lab book is now open for families who are interested in our lab puppies – we have already started taking names. We need for everyone interested in one of our puppies, to fill out our questionnaire under the Contact heading of the website. This is no guarantee for a puppy, as we never know what Mother Nature sends our way, but it gets your name on the list and we will call you once all the pups have joined us!
Koko after being bred – happy & confident:*)
Because I know there is something very special about our Koko and because she certainly unconditionally makes my days brighter, I wanted to not only broadcast the love I have for her but to find a poem that shows my deep appreciation for this wonderful – loving creature! Koko is by far the best labrador I have ever owned, bar none!
Please enjoy the following poem…
I Know Something Good About You … by Louis C. Shimon
Wouldn’t this old world be better
If the folks we meet would say –
“I know something good about you!”
And treat us just that way?
Wouldn’t it be fine and dandy
If each handclasp, fond and true,
Carried with it the assurance –
“I know something good about you!”
Wouldn’t life be lots more happy
If the good that’s in us all
Were the only things about us
That folks bothered to recall?
Wouldn’t life be lots more happy
If we praised the good we see?
For there’s such a lot of goodness
In the worst of you and me!
Wouldn’t it be nice to practice
That fine way of thinking, too?”
You know something good about me,
I know something good about you?
At HomeGrown Trilogy, we know something good about all our dogs – each one is a treasure and they surprise us constantly in their loving ways. If each dog could talk, (they would tell you many things…) but in this case, they would answer this very question with “@ HGT there are always, Ewes and Awes when it comes to US!” Cheers! Pam
