Let Their Spirits Soar…Rain or Shine!
Written by Pam on July 9, 2015
It’s another rainy day here in Connecticut – so we decided to take the pups out for a run and return to a place very familiar to them – their back yard but in a different area of their yard…off the deck and down the hill – away from all our other dogs. The pups had the entire yard to themselves to frolic, play and create games of their very own.
Even though it was pure bliss for the pups, we wanted to start testing their hunting and retrieving skills. Look at the pictures – our HGT golden grands are almost 15 weeks old and they showed us how they don’t necessary need to be with the entire HGT pack to learn to be confident and to do what is natural and safe. Even alone they immediately had their heads held high and started to smell the air, then smell the ground with their tails held straight up as they journey a little farther without being completely out of sight. The pups surprised us at each turn as instinct takes over and how clever they really are in a group and alone!
The last picture is of Akona, Kissakee and Eps sharing a bone and reuniting from a short time apart. Enjoy, Pam
