More Stuff for your KokoBo & Who’s Leaving the HGT Nest…

More Stuff to tote for your KokoBo

Make room in the back of the car to store more stuff for your puppy.  Along with the extra water bottles, the Kongs, older towels, wet-ones  and  training snacks, you should keep a bottle of Remedy Recovery Liquid Bandage for Dogs – Available at PetCo.  This is invaluable product to have with you at the dog park, going for a walk or if you choose to clip your pup’s nails.  There is always that time that they might cut a pad on their paw or get bitten (hopefully play bitten) at the dog park or if you cut the quick when you clip their nails too short.  This liquid bandage gives you time to stop any bleeding and to get the puppy home to clean the wound or to the vet.

Another couple of items that I always take with me especially in the summer when we go running with the dogs – is Rubbing Alcohol and Gauze or a clean cloth.  The only time that I will use alcohol on the pup or dog if I feel that he/she is over heating.  You will need to moisten the gauze with some rubbing alcohol and press the cloth onto his paw pads – this (to me) brings down his/her temperature.  A ice pack works too, but rubbing alcohol seems to do the trick…

Who’s Leaving the HGT Nest now?

Over the next week, a couple of pups will be travelling to their forever homes and it is always a bittersweet time for me when these little pups have matured and grown into well socialized puppies – and will be leaving the HGT nest!  I know that each of you will always take care of your puppy and teach them with further command training, obedience/rally or agility that may someday allow your pup to compete in the show ring for  their jr. showmanship ribbon!

I truly have enjoyed all the families and I want to thank you. Please enjoy our KokoBo puppies as much as I did raising them!  Each pup has a lot of love to share! I will see each of you during your pick-up date/time this coming week.  Bring as many questions/concerns and I will answer them, but always feel that you can call us – always!

I will continue blogging but it might not be everyday as I am late on getting my holiday shopping done – as I think about handy advise for your KokoBo, I will share my thoughts  as well as some more magnificent poems that I absolutely treasure! Enjoy, Pam
