Oh…Say Can You SEE…
Written by Pam on July 4, 2015
We hope everyone of our HGT families had a wonderful 4th! We enjoyed our puppies, dogs, family and close friends today.
The master of (this) ceremony was our HGT Ozzy or Uncle Ozzy. Ozzy stole the show today everyone marveled over how obedient he is. To me he is very different from any dog here – he is really the only dog I know of that does not mind sharing his favorite bone while allowing each puppy to jump, roll, or just lay down on his back…
The beautiful poem that I want to include embedded into this blog is entitled: The Fourth Of July by: Ian Shields Enjoy the poem + the pics! Cheers, Pam
I look to the ocean, I look to the sky – What do I see, on the Fourth of July
One flash of blue, One flash of red – To honor survivors, along with the dead
They do what they can, and did what they could – All of their deeds, we honor and should
The strength of their arms, the power of their fists – Reflected in many ways, in happiness, and bliss
My smile, my laugh, In more ways than one – Is how I repay those who’s lives are done
It ends not here, on this day of July – We’ll honor forever, but forever we’ll cry
