Let Go Of The… Orange

Written by Pam on November 27, 2018

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would attract your attention by the above caption – but that very caption means a lot to us here at HomeGrown Trilogy.

In South America, the natives there try their best to catch monkeys by placing an orange in a large see through jar big enough to get the orange inside the long neck.  The joyful monkey sees and probably smells the orange and reaches in the jar to gather the orange in its hand but now his hand holding on tightly to that must-have orange will not release from the jar.  The monkey will try its hardest to leave the jar but wants the orange more – so the monkey stays and tries to find ways of releasing its hand only with the orange.

The message I am trying to convey here is that in life, we cannot have those wonderful things all the time.  Sometimes, we need to release that treasure, that must-have, that sweetest gift – we need to ‘let go’.  Here at HomeGrown Trilogy, I need to start the process and release my hold on some of my beloved chocolate labradors.  We will be moving soon to much smaller quarters and I cannot take everyone.

I want to start with my  labradors.  Go to the website, Labradors, Adults and search by name. Their pictures and pedigrees are there.
